The Carsonite Composites AcoustaShield Sound Barrier System is a revolutionary development in noise containment, with the added environmental benefit of recycling discarded tires. AcoustaShield is perfect for highways, mass transit lines, crowded residential roads, and scenic areas where vehicle noise is a factor.

The AcoustaShield system uses scrap rubber as filler for tongue and groove boards that are engineered of fiberglass reinforced polymer composite. The lightweight design (only 7.5 pounds per square foot) requires no heavy lifting equipment for installation and minimal traffic diversion to repair it.
